Six suppliers met or exceeded the minimum points score required to achieve an award, with Murata scooping the top Platinum Level standard, Molex winning Gold, Bourns, Kemet and Phoenix Contact attaining Silver and FCI achieving Bronze.
“In our 2010 program we introduced two new awards. The Diamond Award is presented to the supplier with the highest total score exclusive of special recognition points and the Best Quality Award is presented to the supplier who achieved the highest score in all of the Quality categories.
Murata received both new awards in addition to their Platinum level award for 2010 performance, so extra congratulations must go to all employees of Murata.
